What drives my work is "experimenting."
Antonio Visentin has a deep affection for ceramics, a love he has shown since he was little. He was the only boy at eight years old who prefered playing with the earth instead of cars. At the age of five he had already made his first soccer ball in clay and since then the interest in this strange material began to expand. Tony is a concrete artist meaning that his art is simple yet positive and do not represent a forced expression needed to balance his psycho-physical state.
His ideas are born from a different way of understanding objects as he considers the relationship that binds to us with them. What Tony does, is simply exploring possibilities with great enthusiasm and curiosity. Both, in Tony and his art there is a sincere desire for simplicity and immediacy which he expresses for himself and for the pleasure of others.
